Everything Audiobook
, our fall 2009 program, was presented by Amy Peterson and Susan Gibberman from the Schaumburg Township District Library.  In addition to discussing audiobook publishing trends, Amy and Susan asked participants to share their favorite narrators and audiobook titles. 

Librarians in the Chicagoland area agree that the following are the best audiobook narrators around:
Barbara Rosenblat
Scott Brick
George Guidall
John Lee 
Davina Porter
 

These librarians would even listen to telephone listings if they were read by the following:
Jim Dale
Barbara Rosenblat
George Guidall


When it comes to favorite audiobook titles, the top vote getters were:
