Steering Committee Job Descriptions


WEBSITE COORDINATOR

The ARRT Website Coordinator is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the organization’s homepage.

·      Publishes current ARRT program information (including educational programs, book discussions, and genre studies); maintains archive of  past ARRT programs, speakers, and locations.  Updated monthly.

·      Publishes current issue of ARRT newsletter; maintains archive of past issues for one year. Updated 3 times per year.

·      Publishes and maintains links for local libraries’ Book Club Kits collections--checks to be sure links are active and accurate; maintains current contact information.  Updated and reviewed 2 times per year.

·      Publishes current ARRT genre study information; publishes reading lists and notes for each meeting; maintains archive of past genre studies.  Updated monthly.

·      Maintains archive of ARRT Genre Boot Camp resources.  Reviewed annually.

·      Publishes annual ARRT booklist; maintains archive of past ARRT booklists.  Updated and reviewed annually.

·      Publishes current ARRT membership information and flyer. Updated and reviewed annually.

·      Publishes current contact information on ARRT Steering Committee members.  Updated annually.

·      Consults regularly with the ARRT Steering Committee on the website’s purpose, content, target market, and needed resources.  Ongoing.

·      Assists ARRT Steering Committee members as needed in coordination of web projects such as surveys and wikis. Ongoing.

·      Provides information and resources on similar readers’ advisory committees and activities as appropriate.  Ongoing.

·      Monitors visitor information; identifies and assesses areas which may need improvement. Reviewed annually.

·      Registers domain name, serves as the liaison to web hosting source, and troubleshoots technical problems.  Ongoing.
 

*Note: The website is intended as a form of communication for the ARRT Steering Committee and its members.  It is essential that changes be made in a timely manner in order for it to serve as an effective communication tool.  The timeline provided indicates the minimum amount of times per year that particular section of the website must be updated.
